Slow Streets
Streets For All San Francisco organizes, supports, and advocates for the city’s Slow Streets Stewards, a network of neighborhood leaders who build community through the city’s 16 Slow Streets.
San Francisco’s Slow Streets are low-traffic, low-stress streets that augment the city’s bicycle network. They were created in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, and 16 of them were made permanent in 2022.
